Crafted from 100% pure virgin sheep wool, this blanket is dense, substantial, and deeply insulating. At approximately 750 GSM (5.6 lbs), it delivers the kind of warmth synthetic fibers cannot replicate — thick, breathable, and naturally temperature-regulating. Ideal as a winter wool blanket, bed cover, or outdoor camping blanket for harsh conditions across the mountain and forest.
The wool is raw, unbleached, and untreated — no chemical softening, no chlorine processing, no synthetic interference. What remains is the fiber as it should be: durable, soft with character, and built to age well.
A light scent of lanolin may be present — a natural component of high-quality wool. After washing, a small amount (around 0.5%) remains to preserve fiber integrity and longevity.
Unlike mass-produced “superwashed” wool, this blanket avoids aggressive industrial treatments like hydrogen peroxide bleaching or acid carbonization. The process is slower, more demanding, and energy-intensive — but it results in a truly eco-friendly wool blanket with superior structure and performance.
