This piece starts as a handwoven wool blanket—dense, warm, and made to last. It’s then cut, shaped, and reassembled into a structured round tote. The rhythm of the original stripes remains intact: deep red, muted ochre, natural cream, and grounded black. Nothing added. Nothing forced.
The result is a bag that carries weight—materially and visually. Soft to the touch, but firm in presence. Designed for daily use, but with the character of something older.
A circular wool tote bag, upcycled from a traditional handwoven blanket and finished by hand. The exterior keeps the natural lanolin-rich texture of wool—insulating, breathable, and resilient. Inside, a clean cotton lining with a functional pocket keeps structure and order.
