A modern capote coat, grounded in tradition.

Long wool coat crafted from a dense pure wool blanket, following the historic capote coat silhouette once worn across Canada and the northern frontier. The design is defined by a dense blue wool base, bold black banding, and a functional hood, finished with a self belt that allows the form to shift from relaxed to structured.

Heavy, insulating, and durable by nature, this coat was designed as true outerwear. The graphic stripe placement gives rhythm and identity, while the cut remains practical and timeless. Worn open or belted, it carries the character of a heritage blanket coat adapted for contemporary life.

We measure clothing sizes according to the American sizing system.

  • Each successive size has approximately a 2,5'' (6 cm) increase over the previous size.

  • Make sure to read the garment fit info described within the product's description.

  • Going one size down is often recommended for designs that fit loose or oversized.
