This hooded capote coat is tailored from a heavyweight blanket woven from pure virgin wool. Long, enveloping, and quietly bold, it carries the spirit of early frontier garments while standing firmly in the present.
The length, deep hood, and wrap silhouette offer protection and ease. Worn belted or loose, it moves naturally with the body—designed for cold air, long walks, and everyday ritual. A piece that feels protective rather than decorative. Strong, soft, and deeply familiar.
Made slowly in our family studio, where traditional wool weaving meets thoughtful tailoring.
How to wear
Layer over knits or simple dresses. Wear belted for structure or open for ease. Ideal for outdoor walks, travel, and cold interiors.

Air regularly. Spot clean when needed. Professional dry clean recommended.

Measurements
We measure clothing sizes according to the American sizing system.
- Each successive size has approximately a 2,5'' (6 cm) increase over the previous size.
- Make sure to read the garment fit info described within the product's description.
- Going one size down is often recommended for designs that fit loose or oversized.

Simply add your height, bust, waist, hips measurements as a comment to your order. Our tailor Veneta will make your clothes fit your body and style best. But keep in mind that considered as custom made clothing (including sizes 3XL and above) is non-refundable, unless faulty or defect.
